  Lisa was a regular nurse working at the Alchemilla hospital. The director of the hospital, Micheal Kaufmann forced her to take care of Alessa Gillespie when she was brought to the hospital after the tragic fire. Alessa was kept in the hospital's basement and Lisa couldn't tell about anything that was down there. In order to keep Lisa doing her job, Kaufmann had to give her drugs for that. Lisa became addicted to a drug called "White Claudia" and if she did her job then she could get more from Kaufmann. Kaufmann killed her when she kidnapped Dahlia's newborn baby. Lisa met Harry when Harry went to the hospital looking for her daughter, what she didn't realise was, that she was dead already...

:: Harry Mason ::

  Harry Mason, a writer, went to Silent Hill on a vacation. Unforunately, he was soon involved with Dahlia and the dark religion of Silent Hill. On his way to Silent Hill, he suddenly saw a little girl standing in the middle of the road, he avoided running her over so he crashed his jeep. When he woke up he found himself in a cafe, but his daughter Cheryl was gone. He was determined to find her in that forsaken town. Dahlia used Harry in her own advantage to capture Alessa. Soon Harry learned that Cheryl was carrying the other half of Alessa's soul within her, although Cheryl was just a little girl he had found from the highway and taken home to take care of her, he still loved her as if she were his real daughter. After Harry's wife passed away because of her illness, Cheryl was the only thing left for him.

:: Cybil Bennett ::

  Cybil, a 22-year-old police officer was just another victim of the Cult. She was assigned to investigate in Silent Hill but when she reached there, she didn't find anything else but a deserted town. Later on she met Harry Mason and she helped him to look for his daughter Cheryl.

:: Alessa Gillespie ::

  Alessa was the daughter of Dahlia and Micheal Kaufmann. Dahlia placed the soul of Samael into Alessa's body. She wanted her to become a part of The Order and wanted to use her to birth the god. When Alessa went to Midwich Elementary, other kids at school picked on her because she had some powers of her own. She could make things happen with her mind, and thus other children called her a witch. Alessa feared her mother's and The Order's intentions and she refused to use her powers for the benefit of the cult. Dahlia treated Alessa terribly to nurture the God within her. Later Dahlia decided to sacrifice her own daughter by locking Alessa in the basement and setting the house on fire. The terrible fire burnt down many houses nearby and according to newspapers Alessa (7 years old) died in that fire. However, half of her soul escaped from that fire and she survived because the god within her was keeping her alive although Alessa had injuries that would not let any human live after that accident. Alessa was secretly taken to Alchemilla hospital where she stayed for another 7 years, and Lisa had to look after her. Meanwhile Dahlia had another child with Kaufamann and she placed the other half of the soul in her (Cheryl). Lisa found out about that and she kidnapped the baby, and dumped it on the highway.
  It's because of Alessa that other people had to experience the 'Alternate Silent Hill' and the nightmarish worlds, all the horrors, tortures and fears she had been through (especially the ones while she was at the hospital) had now come to life.

:: Cheryl Mason ::

  Cheryl was the daughter of Dahlia and Kaufmann, and she carried the other half of Alessa's soul within her. After Lisa had found the baby Cheryl and dumped her near the highway, Harry Mason found her and took care of her, because he and his wife could not have any chidren because of his wife's illness. When Cheryl was 7 years old, she wanted Harry to take him to Silent Hill with him, without actually knowing it, the reason why she wanted to go there was that Alessa called her. In that town Alessa's soul became whole once again.

:: Heather Mason/Morris ::

  Heather was the daughter of Harry Mason. After losing Cheryl in the town of Silent Hill, Harry got a little baby girl from Alessa just before she died. He took the baby and escaped the town and raised her as his own child. However, it wasn't easy for him to raise her because she reminded him of Cheryl whom he had lost. Although he thought of Heather as a replacement for Cheryl, he still began to love her as his own daughter.
  Heather was a typical 17-year-old girl, until she was drawn into the omnious religious cult. Soon she learned that she indeed was the incarnation of Alessa and Claudia was looking for her to birth the God and bring eternal paradise. But for God to be born, Heather's heart had to be filled with hatred so Claudia had her father Harry killed. Promising to revenge him, Heather went to Silent Hill with the help of the detective Douglas Cartland. Heather was carrying the fetus of the God within her, and Claudia was taking care that the God would be birthed.

:: Douglas Cartland ::

  Douglas Cartland was a detective hired by Claudia Wolf to find Alessa. When Heather was 17 years old, he found her and wanted to talk about her birth, however soon Douglas found out Claudia's real intentions and decided not to help her any longer. Instead, she gave his help to Heather and took him to Silent Hill. He hadn't much left in his life, so it wasn't any problem for him to take Heather to a place like Silent Hill.
